F.A.Q.

Can I add new tracks to my library using Seabass?#

Not at this point. Seabass doesn't do track analysis, as extracting a correct waveform and beatgrid is highly dependent on Pioneer and Denon IP. We know that this is important to you, and if we can't get this right, we'd rather not do it.

For adding tracks, we therefore refer you to, for example, rekordbox (sorry ;-)), and then invite you to sync your tracks to the Denon ecosystem using Seabass. Once your tracks are in the library, you can create new playlists and edit your current ones using Seabass.

For now, creating and editing playlists is hidden behind a checkbox: tick Enable experimental features in Settings. Let us know how you like it, and what you'd like changed or added.
